Evelyn's academic journey is a testament to her unwavering dedication to personal and professional growth. She holds an A.A.S. in Early Childhood Education, a B.A. in Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage & Family from Northwestern University, and an M.A. in Counseling from Bethel University. Her pursuit of knowledge extends beyond traditional academia, as she has also earned certificates from esteemed institutions such as the School of the Psalmist-Eagles International Training Institute and the School of Prophets- Praise Invasions International. Her commitment to learning is further evidenced by her certifications in Prepare-Enrich and her role as a certified speaker, coach, and trainer on the John Maxwell Leadership Team.

Evelyn has dedicated her life to serving her community since she was a little girl. She has taken on various leadership roles, including choir director, minister, worship leader, and interim pastor. Evelyn has led women’s Bible studies, taught personal growth classes at Shakopee Women's Prison, and ministered through music. In 2016, she released her first album, "In His Presence." From 1998 to 2010, she focused on ministry with families and young children, creating educational programs that supported their growth and mental health.

In 2016, Evelyn returned to school for Biblical Studies and Psychology. She began serving her community by providing mental health resources and counseling, eventually founding Wellspring of Life to enrich and empower others. Pastor Evelyn aims to inspire individuals to find spiritual nourishment, share the gospel, and support others in achieving emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.

Evelyn believes that emotional and spiritual immaturity can be harmful to ourselves and others. She understands that God’s process is often slow, focusing on the journey rather than just the outcome, allowing maturity, integrity, and character to develop so we can effectively steward promises and people.

In her leisure time, Evelyn enjoys traveling, listening to music, reading, studying, and writing. As a Minnesota native, she loves spending time by the lake and taking nature walks. However, her greatest joy comes from quality time with her husband, children, family, granddaughter, and close friends, making her relatable and approachable.
