The Power of One

One: It represents a single entity, the unit of counting or measurement.

Believing in someone: to feel sure that someone can do something.

You can change the course of someone’s life by just believing in them. For me, that person was my father. (and a few others along the way). He would speak such kind words, and he'd also prophesy my future. Oh, how I miss him. His voice and his presence impacted me greatly. He was the voice of one.

Something is compelling about the voice of “one” who ultimately believes in you. It can be so life-changing and feel like the wind beneath you.

I write this to encourage you to believe in yourself but also to find someone --> and be their ONE! Believing in someone doesn’t cost a thing. Speaking life and reminding them of their potential doesn’t take much time.

Your words can destroy lies that may be secretly binding a person. Your words can lift someone up and out of a low place—your comments, when full of truth and life, can re-awaken the bones within. Your words can be light in a dark place.

Sometimes being “the one” in someone's life can set ablaze within them and change the trajectory of their life.
