Evolving

Evolving: to undergo evolutionary change. To develop or unfold.

We all have a journey—some different from others. In my journey, I have developed gradually—each season offering various opportunities and options for growth. Evolving: developing gradually or making someone or something change and expand progressively.

Evolving, however, has been something that has taken place in my private moments of life through painful experiences and quiet victories. It's been a journey and sometimes a lonely one.

Although applause is kind, what counts most is the ability to encourage and applaud yourself in the stretching process when you want to quit; that's essential. It’s the ability to hear the still small voice of the Father say, “you were created for this”… it’s tuning into His voice while leaving strange voices on the wayside.

Evolving. Although it can be inspired by community and supported by friends, it is still a personal, individual journey that one chooses to embark on. All of who I am is because of God. Yes, I did do the work and endured every season, but I'd be nothing without Him.

As I continue evolving, May God is glorified every step of the way. May my life reflect all of who He has predestined me to be.

I encourage you as I encourage myself to continue EVOLVING. The night seasons are necessary. He is with you.
